The Academy is situated in the centre of Bournemouth, with excellent public transport access.
Livingstone Academy sits at the very heart of our local and wider community, with the resources available to open up our facilities to the public and offer everyone the opportunity to book and use the spaces outside academy hours.
We have 3 beautiful buildings with many unique features and beautiful working spaces.
The old magistrates building on Stafford Road has been refurbished to a very high standard to serve as our primary education base with 14 light, airy and open classrooms, 2 large sports halls, outside learning areas, playgrounds, and multiple office working spaces.
The old courthouse, originally built in 1912, has been beautifully re-purposed to house an art classroom, photography studio, music technology classroom, live recording studio as well as having the original law court at the heart of the building.
Our brand new 5 storey secondary building is beautifully equipped with 8 high-specification science laboratories, 3 computer suites, a rooftop sports area (MUGA), multiple, large open spaces, a well-equipped and spacious food technology classroom, large sports hall and a large canteen space.
Individual spaces are very flexible and all of them can be configured to meet your specific requirements; whether that’s classroom, seminar or work group layouts.
