I am committed to creating a positive learning environment where all our students can excel academically, socially, and emotionally.  I believe in providing high-quality education to all students, regardless of their level, in every subject, and at all times. My goal is for all our students to feel secure and confident, allowing every student to achieve their highest standards and goals. 

We are all aware of how important education is to change young people’s lives for the better. In my role I am dedicated to ensure that all students at LAB leave us with the qualifications they require to go on and live out their dreams. At the same time, ensuring that we build character in our children to contribute positively to society as an adult.

I am delighted to be leading Inclusion at Livingstone Academy. My role is to ensure that every child, regardless of their starting point or individual needs, is fully supported to access learning and thrive in our community. I work closely with staff, students, and families to create an inclusive environment where all pupils feel valued, supported, and able to achieve their aspirations. By championing equity and celebrating diversity, I aim to remove barriers to learning and help every young person grow in confidence, resilience, and independence.

As Assistant Principal for Behaviour, Culture and Attendance at Livingstone Academy Bournemouth, I believe that good behaviour and excellent attendance are the foundation of success in education. When students feel safe, supported and attend every day, they are able to thrive both academically and personally. I feel incredibly honoured to help shape the citizens of tomorrow and support young people in developing the character and resilience needed for life beyond school.

I am proud to lead teaching and learning alongside such a dedicated and passionate team of professionals. Every day, I see colleagues going above and beyond for our students, bringing energy, care and creativity into everything they do. Their commitment to improving outcomes and creating opportunities for every child is inspiring, and it is a privilege to work within such a supportive community.

I feel incredibly proud to lead teaching and learning alongside such a dedicated team of professionals. It’s inspiring to be part of a community so committed to helping children thrive. As Head of Anning House, I love fostering a sense of belonging, where every student feels valued, supported, and proud to be part of our school community.

I am thrilled to have joined the LAB team as Assistant Principal – Head of Primary and Year 7.  I am passionate about ensuring that every child thrives at school and believes in their own capabilities and potential.

I have high expectations for every pupil and believe it is essential not to set any ‘glass ceilings’ but instead to help pupils to develop high levels of self-efficacy, persistence and resilience in all they do. I am a firm advocate of “I can’t do it…yet” and a growth mindset.  Recognising how much we can learn from the mistakes we make is crucial to being driven to persevere and dream big.

These early years in education are a time when anything is possible, and we want to ensure our pupils have access to an exciting curriculum that motivates them to become independent, creative and critical thinkers.
