Livingstone Academy Bournemouth is a pioneering school for the 21st century: A beacon of excellence, epitomising the Aspirations Academies Trust Framework.

Livingstone Academy Bournemouth is a brand new all-through school that will combine excellent education with an innovative skills development programme, ensuring students from four to 18 have the skills and qualifications they need to succeed.

The academy is a collaboration between Steve and Paula Kenning, CEOs of Aspirations Academies Trust, and Ian Livingstone, a digital entrepreneur and one of the founding fathers of the UK games industry.

Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM) are subjects that are critical for success in the 21st century. The curriculum will be designed around these subjects and will also focus on applying the knowledge learned in these subjects on real-world assignments.

There will be a great emphasis on learning alongside employers so that young people on leaving Livingstone Academy will be ready to thrive in their chosen field of study and career.

In a world that has become exponentially reliant on technology, it is important that all young people not only know how to consume technology, but are given the knowledge, insight and the relevant skills to create their own technology.

At Livingstone Academy Bournemouth, young people will experience a very different type of education, centred on the development of knowledge and skills, delivered through a partnership with the Academy and the digital industry.
